A fortuitous Stumble! led me to a 25 year-old Brazilian illustrator who goes by the name of Mathiole. One look at this piece and the accompanying quote posted with it made me an instant fan. Mathiole’s work is a kaleidoscopic mix of manga, pop culture, retro and collage. It is as if Windsor McCayhas returned and has been given a computer to continue his flights of fantasy.
